Circle of Hope
Many people are struggling these days.
Fortunately, there is Circle of Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to
serving people in need. Headquartered in Needham, Circle of Hope runs the
Greater Boston Community Exchange which collects, sorts and distributes new and
gently used clothing for children, men and women, as well as small household
goods. Donated items are gathered and transported by volunteers and given
directly to individuals and families living in homeless shelters, and those in
transition and struggling for independent lives.
This year Temple Beth
Shalom will be building on their relationship with Circle of Hope with many
volunteer opportunities for adults and children. You can also help by donating
new or gently used blankets, coats, scarves, hats, gloves, new underwear and
socks for adults. Contact co-chairs of this initiative Peggy Gassman (gassman6@comcast.net)
or Deb Lipsett (deblipsett@gmail.com)
to find about the many ways you can join in this effort or to arrange to make a
clothing donation.
