High Holy Days

Erev Sukkot Service
A beautiful service during which we express our gratitude for life’s many blessings.

Sukkot Morning Service
With joy, we share prayer, song, Torah, shake lulav and Etrog, and spend time on our Sukkah.

Erev Simchat Torah
Joy, dancing, song….During this service we celebrate our completion of the reading of the Torah with spirited klezmer music. We unroll the entire Torah around our Sanctuary reading Torah’s last words and first words – beginning our cycle anew. We celebrate our children’s Torah-learning-beginnings with special blessing!  It’s an evening not to be missed!

 

Simchat Torah Morning Service
We share prayer, song, and Torah as we also recall the memory of loved ones through the recitation of Yizkor prayers.

Chanukah
Join us as we kindle the spirit of Chanukah with song, latkes, and fun throughout the season of light!

Purim Evening Celebration
Celebrate with us on the evening of Purim as we share in a joyful sharing of the Purim story.

Purim Celebration/Shpiel
A TBS favorite for adults! Join us for our community’s creative, musical, and always hysterical spoof on the Purim story!

Purim Carnival and Kids’ Shpiel
Games, costumes, music, food, a sea of smiles, and MORE!!

Passover 
We share prayer, song, and Torah in celebration of our holiday of freedom.

7th Day Passover Morning Service
We share prayer, song, and Torah to conclude the Passover holiday. We recall the memory of loved ones through the recitation of Yizkor prayers.

Yom HaShoah / Holocaust Commemoration
Join us for our annual Needham-wide commemoration of Yom HaShoah as we join with our neighbors from Temple Aliyah for a special program of remembrance.

Israel Independence Day Shabbat
We celebrate Israel with music, food, readings and reflections during this special Shabbat service close to Israel’s Independence Day.

Shavuot Evening Service
We celebrate the giving of the Torah with inspired reflections and readings crafted by our 10th grade Confirmands. Beautiful music, artistic expression, prayer and poetry blend as we celebrate our connection to Torah.

Shavuot Morning Service
