Car Parade Food Drive for Family Table at JF&CS

Since the onset of COVID-19 in Massachusetts, food insecurity has risen 300%. Join our TBS community in giving directly to MA residents at a Car Parade Food Drive. One bag of groceries goes a long way. Come to JF&CS (1430 Main Street, Waltham, MA 02451) on Wednesday, July 1 between 10am-12pm for contact-less donation, or fill out this form to have a donation picked up at your front door and delivered to Family Table on your behalf, or to volunteer to deliver groceries for others. Do a mitzvah, and help us reach our goal of collecting 613 lbs of non-perishable food! Family Table is currently most in need of canned vegetables, tuna, salmon, brown rice, pasta, no-salt tomato products, and whole grain cereals. They are also currently in need of Shabbat candles.

Family Table of JF&CS provides a full set of groceries (including perishables) to more than 500 enrolled households each month. We also provide food to anyone who comes to us in an emergency. Over the past several months, not only have we continued to meet the needs of our enrolled clients, we have also responded to many emergencies, providing critically needed food to families who are struggling with lost jobs and lost income. Many were living paycheck to paycheck prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and they are suddenly left with no means of support.
