On Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm, join us for an adult and family learning presentation. Not only do comic book superheroes Batman and Superman disguise themselves to save the world, but, they also disguise their creator’s Jewish heritage. Since their creation in the 1930’s comic books have become a part of our nation’s vocabulary, forever changing the way we think about what makes a hero. Unmask the Jewish subtexts of these stories and discover the contributions Jews have made to this American art form. Rabbi Simcha Weinstein is an internationally known speaker and author. He has appeared on CNN, NPR, and was profiled in publications like the New York Times, Miami Herald, and London Guardian. To register and buy tickets, click here.
