"Conflict Zone:" A One-Woman Play on Mental Health and Other Wars

Tuesday, March 1, 7:30-9:00 pm

Register here.

"Conflict Zone" is an original one-woman play written and presented by Israeli-American writer and musician Leahy Ardon. The show, created by scholars from Berklee College of Music and Harvard University, takes us on the journey of a young immigrant to the US as she battles an eating disorder and how her Jewish-Israeli identity plays a role in her fight for recovery. Through a compelling storyline, combined with music and poetry, we are taken on a ride through laughter and tears, and given food for thought and room for hope. Conflict Zone was recently awarded the CJP Arts and Culture Community Impact Grant. Guided discussion and open Q&A with the performer and a mental health professional will follow. This virtual presentation is sponsored by the Inclusion Task Force and the Adult Learning Committee. Questions? Contact Judy Pearl.
