Register here.

Have you ever wondered what the difference is between “fair housing” and “affordable housing”? Did you know that the Fair Housing Act, passed on April 11, 1968, just days after the assassination of Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., is inextricably linked to the civil rights movement and racial justice?

Join TBS's Racial Justice Initiative for an educational workshop with urban planning consultant Judi Barrett of Barrett Planning Group to learn about the history of the Fair Housing Act, its present-day implications, and the role that Needham and its residents must play in affirmatively furthering equal housing opportunity for all. We'll learn about our obligation to eliminate racial segregation and end housing discrimination in our community.
