Please join us for an entertaining and educational weekend to explore Jewish music. Professor Joshua Jacobson, conductor of the Zamir Chorale of Boston and Emeritus Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Northeastern University will deliver four lectures during the weekend covering a range of topics including music and prayer, the origins of music in the synagogue, the music of Zionism, and the impact of Jews on Jazz music. All events will be held at Temple Beth Shalom, with all lectures also live online through streaming.
