Exploring the Erev Shabbat Service & Liturgy

We are excited to offer an enriching adult learning class focused on deepening your understanding of Friday night Shabbat services. Taught by Hebrew teacher Sheira Rosenfield, this course will guide you through the Hebrew language of key prayers, allowing you to appreciate their meanings and significance. You'll learn to read the prayers fluently and explore the melodies that bring them to life, enhancing your connection to the Shabbat experience. We will also explore the arc and choreography of the service to provide a comprehensive understanding. A basic ability to read Hebrew is required.
