Purchase Gift Cards to Help New Refugees

Please consider donating gift cards to assist newly arriving refugees from Haiti, Israel, Venezuela, Guatemala, and other countries! Gift cards for transportation, groceries, and other basic needs are easy to purchase and have proven to be most helpful in supporting these recently uprooted individuals and families, while providing them with priceless independence. 

Our resettlement partners at Jewish Family Service of Metrowest (JFS) are collecting Uber, Stop&Shop, and Walmart gift cards in $25, $50, and $100 denominations for their clients who have recently arrived in the United States. Your donation makes an immediate and powerful impact on these refugees. 

Order your Uber gift card online HERE. Please do NOT send gift cards via email. Be sure to select the black and white Uber card design and click the second option for a physical card to be “sent by mail”.  Stop&Shop orders may be placed HERE and Walmart may be ordered HERE.

Gift cards may be dropped off or mailed to arrive by December 20th. Please place cards in an envelope and, on the outside of the envelope, please write the card vendor's name and the dollar amount, along with your name and email address. Email Sarah for mailing and drop off information.
